Double Layer Amber/Green LED Flexi Pole Beacon - LG670
Note: When wiring the beacon, the wires should be connected so that the green light comes on when the seat belt is fastened. The amber light should be on when the machine or vehicle is being operated as a warning to pedestrians.
Installation Instructions
To install the LG670 beacon, please follow these steps carefully:
Pole Mount Preparation:
Install a new pole mount on your vehicle. Remove the center screw from the pole mount to allow the beacon’s wire to be fed through the center.
Wiring the Beacon:
Feed the wire attached to the beacon through the center of the pole mount and route it inside the vehicle.
Connector Details:
The beacon wire terminates in a four-pin screw connector, which can be opened for wiring. Connect the other side of this four-pin screw connector to your vehicle’s wiring as follows:
Pin 1 (Black): Negative (Ground)
Pin 2 (Red): Positive – Controls the amber section of the beacon
Pin 3 (Yellow): Positive – Controls the green section of the beacon
Pin 4 (White): Synchronization wire
Synchronization of Multiple Beacons:
If installing more than one LG670 beacon, connect the white synchronization wires of all beacons together. This will ensure all beacons flash in the same synchronized pattern.
Changing Flash Patterns:
To change the beacon’s flash pattern, use the buttons located at the base of the beacon:
Press the Green button to change the green light pattern
Press the Yellow button to change the amber light pattern
